I worked for months on this one and even so there was never a shortage of ideas or new approaches to try. For me it needed constant rework and/or reinivention to progress, right up to passing the very last tests. I think it is an excellent problem encompassing a wide range of programming and mathematical concepts along the way - it is also entirely fair and achievable although I doubted that many times. Big respect to the setter for pushing the problem so far from the original.

For the problem setter, could you please confirm that your algorithm has a reasonable time complexity (as a function of the inputs). You don't have to express it, I only need a confirmation. Thanks

Thumb up if you don't understand the Problem :D

So this problem is managed to be the one that is too difficult to have anybody solve it so far (for about one week) :-D But is it the real purpose for this contest? to get people feel overwhelmed?
