The Sonos application and the speaker firmware should generally be forward-thinking on a similar form. Furthermore, Sonos routinely refreshes the cdoe and just backings the latest form of S1 and S2, no earlier variants. So giving a method for siding load the application, and firmware, won't be feasible for giving upheld refreshes. However, could be off-base about that.
