Welcome to Sample Coding Challenge Practice Test: Ada+ Streaming

Welcome! This practice test covers the concepts we expect you to know at the time you apply and will help familiarize yourself with what to expect in the Technical Coding Challenge. You will have access to this practice test for a month from the time you start your test.

We want to provide transparency in regards to what applicants can accept when they progress to the Technical Coding Challenge so we are providing this practice test. Our Coding Challenge is based on our Ada Build curriculum. If you are a brand new coder and have not gone through the curriculum yet, we encourage you to do so before attempting this practice test.

You will not receive results for submitting the practice test. As you work and run your code you will be able to see the test cases that your code will run agains. As a reminder, during the Code Challenge we are assessing your ability to self-learn and apply material quickly, and if you have a demonstrated grasp of coding fundamentals to confirm your readiness to start at Ada. You do not need to submit your test.

Lastly, if you find this practice test too difficult, don't be discouraged! We encourage you to continue studying and consider these additional resources that have helped many of our students when they were starting out in their coding journey:

This is a limited resource. We ask that you do not create multiple accounts to attempt multiple tests so everyone interested can participate. 

Participation in this practice test does not guarantee acceptance into the Ada Program. This is meant to simulate what can be expected in the Technical Coding Challenge.
