Welcome to the Elimination Round of Hackathon-Xtreme 2023: Elevating Coding Creativity! Organized by the IESL Student Chapter of the University of Moratuwa. This competition is designed to showcase your coding skills and creativity. Competitors! it's your chance to compete for outstanding prizes!

Today is the first step of the journey to be crowned as the 'Champion of Hackathon-Xtreme 2023.

You will given 7 problems during the 3 hour time period and 20 teams scoring for top 20 under the rules and regulations of the competition will be selected for the final round.

Prizes

For the winners of the competition, the following prizes will be awarded.

  • Three Winning teams will receive the following prizes. Their prizes will be awarded at the award ceremony of Techno-2023.
  • 1st prize of 100,000 LKR with a trophy, medals, and certificates
  • 2nd prize of 75 000 LKR with medals and certificates

  • 3rd prize of 50,000 LKR with medals and certificates

  • All other participants - Valuable Participation certificates issued by IESL YMS

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.
  • Code directly from our platform, which supports over 30 languages. Learn more here.
  • Every team must have a Hackerrank account must be renamed as “Techno_[Your Team Name]”.
  • All the members of team must join the contest using the same account.
  • Any team who has not renamed like mentioned above will not be eligible for the final round even if they have scored more than other teams.
  • Participation is exclusively reserved for registered competitors. Access to the competition will be granted only to registered email addresses.
  • Registered participants will be filtered after the competition end. Therefore if you are not registered for the competiton via the google form, you will not be eligible for the final round.
  • Usage of AI tools during the competition is strictly prohibited.
  • Competitors are allowed to use the internet for assistance during the event.
  • The judgment rendered by the panel of judges is final and binding.
  • Any breach of these rules may result in immediate disqualification from the competition.
  • Leaderboard showing at the end of the contest will not be the final leaderboard. Every submission willbe inspected by a judge panel and final 20 teams will be announced later.

Scoring

  • Evry Question have multiple test cases each carrying some percentage of the total marks for the question.
  • If someone passed all the test cases he/she will get total marks.
  • If the answer is partially correct (some test cases passed), he/she will get some fraction of the total marks for the question according to the passed test cases.
  • When tie situations occurs, winner will be selected by the sum of the times periods between opening a problem and submitting the correct answer.
  • Leaderboard showing at the end of the contest will not be the final leaderboard. Every submission willbe inspected by a judge panel and final 20 teams will be announced later.
