SAP is a suite of software developed by the company SAP SE for the management of business processes, developing solutions that facilitate effective data processing and information flow across organizations, commonly knows as ERP (Enterprise Resource planning). 

Key areas:
SAP ABAP: This is a popular enterprise programming language developed by SAP SE. This competency area includes understanding of SAP System Architecture, Data Dictionary, working with ABAP Editor, Arithmetic calculations, character strings, debugging programs, database tables, other data types, program flow control & logical expressions, building user selection screens, Internal tables, modularizing programs & resource files.

SAP MM (Material management): This is a software suite covers major business processes in the areas of Material Management, Procurement, Consumption based planning & Physical inventory. This competency area includes understanding of  P2P (Procure to Pay) business lifecycle, the Purchase Order lifecycle, Master Data, Procuring non-stock materials & Services, Returns, Outline Agreements, Purchase requisitions & Quotation, Inventory Management, Order, Auto PO creation, Reservations, Split valuations, Consumption based planning, Forecasting, Configurations, Item categories & account assignment categories.

SAP S/4HANA: This is a large enterprise ERP solution optimized for SAP's in-memory SAP HANA. This competency area includes hands-on with Fiori the GUI, Master Data - Customer Vendor Integration, Master Data - Material Master, Credit Management, Output determination, Pricing, Rebates, Availability to promise, Inventory Management, Migration options & Deployment options.

SAP Financial Accounting: This is a software suite that helps organization with finances & accounting. This competency area includes understanding the basics of SAP Financial Accounting, Financial Accounting Terms, the General Ledger & its features, the Sub-Ledgers, the Accounts Receivable/Payable, the Asset Accounting, the Finance Module integration with other SAP modules, the Organizational Elements Of R/3 & the settings, ability to classify & reconcile R/3 documents with the original documents, opening and closing posting periods, posting authorizations to users. 

SAP HANA®: This is an in-memory, column-oriented, relational database management system. This competency area includes understanding of the architecture of SAP HANA, in memory modeling techniques, retrieve data from SAP & non-SAP data sources, build reports on SAP BOBJ reporting stack, build SAP HANA models for Purchase/Sales insights, Smart Data Integration & Access, Model Optimization & Accuracy, Model & Data Security.

SAP SD (Sales & Distribution): This is a SAP ERP module to manage the shipping, billing, selling and transportation of products and services of a company. This competency area includes understanding of Order to Cash Cycle, Sales Order, Master Data, Delivery & Billing, Pricing, Item Categories, Contracts, Consignments, Plants, Partners, Customer Material info Records, Listing, Exclusions, Availability check, Backorder processing, Scheduling & Rescheduling & SAP Project life cycle.

SAP SuccessFactors: This is a Human Capital Management software. This competency area includes understanding of Employee Profile management, Org chart management, Role based permissions, Email Notifications & Password settings, MDF Objects, CSF - MDF Associations, MDF Job classifications, Position Management, Succession Data model, Workflows, Business rules, Event reasons, Imports & exports.
