Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is a comprehensive ERP solution that offers a range of functionalities to help businesses manage their financials, supply chain, manufacturing, human resources, and other core operations.

This competency area includes an understanding of ERP fundamentals, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O platform, financial management, supply chain management, human resources and payroll, customization and configuration, data management, reporting and analytics, and security and compliance.

Key Competencies:

  1. ERP Fundamentals - Understand the fundamental concepts of ERP systems, including how they integrate various business processes and functions within an organization.

  2. Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O - Develop expertise in using the Dynamics 365 F&O platform, including navigation, data entry, and working with modules specific to your role.

  3. Financial Management - Knowledge of modules such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and budgeting.

  4. Supply Chain Management - Ability to manage inventory, procurement, order processing, warehouse management, and production planning.

  5. Human Resources and Payroll - Ability to manage employee information, payroll, benefits, and recruitment processes within the F&O system.

  6. Customization and Configuration - Knowledge of defining custom fields, workflows, and user interface elements.

  7. Data Management - Knowledge of data import/export, data migration, and data integration to keep the system up-to-date.

  8. Reporting and Analytics - Ability to create reports and use the built-in analytics tools to gain insights from the data.
