If one of your questions has been leaked, it is automatically replaced with a similar question. This release, the logic has improved to include similarity of concepts, time, number of tries and more. This means the new questions will always closely match the originals.

You can now assess candidates by adding Azure hands-on questions to your tests. With this new Cloud skill offering, candidates can complete tasks directly in the Azure Portal using a temporary account provided by HackerRank. Once completed, their work will automatically be scored and logged in the test report.

The insights tab shows certification metrics and a funnel chart to monitor developer progress. The developers tab provides detailed status, scores, and activity, allowing managers to filter and sort information and take action to support their team’s skill development.

The new Assessment drawer helps managers support their team's professional growth. This provides a complete overview of each team member's skill development journey, allowing for effective tracking of certifications, overseeing learning objectives, and managing due dates. With improved visibility into individual progress, managers can better guide their teams on their continuous learning and career advancement journeys.

Developers now have access to a detailed overview of their certification results. This includes insights into each assessed skill, individual scores, the number of test cases passed, and time spent on each section. This feedback highlights strengths and areas for improvement. After certification, developers can conveniently download their certificates directly from the results panel.

New certification management controls allow managers to send reminders or adjust due dates as needed. This keeps developers on track with their skill development while giving them the flexibility to complete certifications at their own pace. When a developer finishes their certification, the system notifies managers and excludes them from reminder emails.

Developers can now deepen their understanding of AI with the new Prompt Engineering skill. It’s a chance to sharpen their expertise and showcase their knowledge. They can write, test, and submit prompts using a user-friendly editor integrated into the certification assessment. This skill includes learning resources, a practice test for skill refinement, a beginner-level badge, and a final certification to demonstrate proficiency.

Mock interviews were launched in early 2024 to offer developers a practice environment that mimics a real technical interview experience. This tool helps developers to practice answering questions based on their code, receiving feedback, and improving their performance.

Mock interviews have now been improved for a better experience. Coding questions are clearer, and the interviewer bot now gives more realistic responses. After finishing, developers can check out the updated feedback screen to see their performance. Plus, front-end developers can now practice with a new React-focused mock interview that includes a customizable VSCode IDE.

The QuickApply Chrome extension simplifies the job application process by automatically filling in details and work history on online forms. It detects fields on job application pages and populates them with HackerRank profile information. The extension now supports applications on five major ATSs: Lever, Greenhouse, Workday, Avature, and SmartRecruiters.
