· Completed a research project on lubricant transfer process at the head-disk interface in hard disk drives. · Built a lubricant film model that exhibits similar properties to real experimental results. · Conducted computer simulations to visualize the trajectory of lubricants that transfer to the top slider surface. · Collected and analyzed simulation outputs to reveal the effect of several key parameters on the lubricant transfer amount. · Obtained interesting results that provide inspirations for better lubricant designs.
