Supervised 2 classes of 25 undergraduates each in weekly discussions for Math 257 (Linear Algebra with Computing Applications) in Spring 2022. Supervised 4 classes of 35 undergraduates each in weekly discussions for Math 241 (Calculus 3) in Fall 2022 and Spring 2023. Teacher ranked as excellent for Spring 2022, Fall 2022, and Spring 2023.

Performed calculations to solve a camera-to-robot pose estimation problem. Discovered a linear reformulation of the system of equations involved which is commonly perceived as nonlinear and intractable. This allowed us to circumvent the use of complex numerical optimisation packages thus speeding up the calculation by over 30x and so enabled us to average over a correspondingly greater number of measurements to mitigate the effects of noise and significantly improve the accuracy of the pose estimate. Extended the method to solve a camera-to-camera pose estimation problem. Performed calculations to plan grid intersections within an arbitrary planar polygonal region. Independently rediscovered an efficient method for determining when a grid intersection falls within the polygonal region. Performed calculations to estimate grid intersections from a noisy image. Independently formulated a robust system for calculating a least-squares best fit grid to noisy data. Implemented an alternative algorithm based on the probabilistic Hough transform, rigorously tested it and pointed out weaknesses of the method to coworkers.
Intern
Mitsubishi Electric•  June 2018 - August 2018
Studied a recently published paper on a novel deep learning algorithm for separating multiple sound sources from a single audio clip. Wrote a program in Python to implement and test the proposed method. Presented findings to research scientists. Clarified some complications in the underlying theory. Adapted my program to solve additional problem of counting sound sources.

University of Cambridge, Cambridge
Mathematics, MS•  October 2019 - June 2020
The Part III course is intended as a preparation for research in mathematics and leads to a master’s degree by examination. The degree is awarded on the basis of an examination which takes place in the Easter term. According to the University’s Statutes and Ordinances, the pass level is equivalent to an Upper Second-Class Honours degree.
University of Warwick
Financial Mathematics, MS•  September 2018 - September 2019
This mathematically rigorous course is unique in providing training from three top departments at Warwick: Statistics, Mathematics and Warwick Business School. It enables you to develop and apply the quantitative skills in machine learning, computational statistics and mathematical finance used in the financial markets and the finance industry.
University of Cambridge, Cambridge
Mathematics, BA•  October 2015 - July 2018
Cambridge is renowned for the excellence of its Mathematics course. Equally challenging and rewarding, it offers the opportunity to study a wide range of subjects: everything from abstract logic to black holes.
