UNIX System Administrator

Taking roles in daily operations of UNIX systems (Solaris, CentOS, Ubuntu) • Network management using network, route, alias, bonding, 70-persistent scripts and terminal commands (like ethtool, ping, ip, route etc.) Solving system and network failures ASAP using event logs, memory dumps etc. • ( CentOS 7 and CentOS 8 ) Systemd management using systemctl command. Writing systemd services for different usages. using event logs, memory dumps etc. • Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller ( iDRAC ) 6/7/8 and 9 management using racadm command (with or without Ansible playbooks). BIOS Configuration with iDRAC ( like assigning BIOS root password, activate or deactivate options like Lifecycle Controller, choosing boot sequence, giving ability to remote screen enabling Virtual Network Computing ( VNC ) etc.) • CI/CD using ANSIBLE - Developing ANSIBLE playbooks (.yaml) for implementing all of my administrative tasks to systems in a manner of DevOps approach. • Developping scripts with Bash and Perl. • Packaging, installing and testing of developed codes both on Solaris and Linux systems. • Implementing basic practices of Linux Hardening (like changing disk partition states using mount command, blacklisting or erasing kernel modules, changing default ports etc.)
