Collaborating with Dr. Gerard De Melo on automatically detecting a list of stop words for multiple languages and initially surveyed more than 50 articles to narrow down the best suitable methods. Developing different statistical models like TFIDF, Entropy, Variance and SAT and aggregated them using Borda’s rule to create a stop list and compared them with predefined stop lists such as RankNL and Brown Corpus. Exploiting Word2Vec and Natural Language Translation models using Recurrent Neural Networks alongside other statistical methods.
