Software Engineer

I worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Spade Infotech Pvt. Ltd. on an International Insurance project with a Saudi Arabian Company(SAICO). I designed, implemented, tested, and developed complex backend code for the application, worked with a framework that implemented Spring Hibernate JDBC and designed restful APIs for the project. I worked on two applications, PAMS(Desktop Application) and Motor Insurance(Web Application). Both applications implemented Spring Hibernate JDBC frameworks, PAMS is used for all Health Insurance-related work and uses only one language Core Java. Frontend and backend part are both coded in Core Java 8 and the editor used is Eclipse Editor. It has its UI library(Standard Widget Toolkit) which is coded in Core Java language. My daily work included designing a screen on User Interface, adding buttons to it, adding on click functionalities to them, a table and doing CRUD operations. Motor Insurance Application is used for all motor insurance work and uses two languages Core Java in the backend and Angular.js in the front end. Database used is Oracle SQL Toad 9.6. My daily work on this application included adding textboxes, buttons, and combo boxes to the existing screen. It also included designing and calling the restful APIs on the front end for adding functionalities to the components on the screen. Client used to give enhancement in the application from time to time and I also have to provide maintenance for applications. We interacted with them daily to understand their requirements. I worked on front end in designing the screens for the project and every other layer in application. I worked on every layer of this application, accepted every challenge I faced and overcame them.
