Analyzed Alexa’s core knowledge-base system to identify possible problems on migrating databases from SQL to NoSQL. Measured the value and usage of key query searches through analysis and implementation of new metrics. Created experiments to disable and deprecate different types of searches, greatly facilitating the transition to DynamoDB.

Designed the system architecture for a new feature that pushes notifications to users on the primevideo.com website. Designed and developed new API to initiate the sign up of a new customer using an external payment (e.g. iTunes). Refactored the main service handling new subscriptions for Prime Video allowing the integration with external payment methods. Built a new microservice to interact with the external payment entities, including its fully automated pipeline, dashboards, and alarms.
