I have worked as a Data Scientist for 3+ years as a consultant & researcher in the education and psychometrics domain at an EdTech startup company - Playpower Labs in India. Broadly, I have worked in 4 different areas - software engineering, predictive modeling, data mining, and statistics. During my tenure as a data scientist, I have worked on several educational consulting projects for Savvas Learning Company (formerly Pearson) and Central Board of Secondary Education in India (CBSE), conducted independent research in the field of Process Mining, Learning Analytics, and statistics, authored several journal publications, actively contributed to open-source, and participated in & won international data mining competitions. Developed expertise in doing advanced data analytics, data mining, data visualization, data storytelling for effective communication, design, analysis & optimization of algorithms, and have profound knowledge of machine learning & statistical algorithms.
