    The company’s historical database needed to be analysed. This meant learning and using SQL to query the data in the relational database (using MySQL) such that statistics can be gathered. This was then used to make a statistical model that could predict the company’s most popular product during specific times of the year.

    Electrical Engineering, BS•  February 2017 - December 2021

    Studied electronics and circuitry design. Did software courses (in C++) that introduced one to Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) for software applications, version control systems using GitHub, scripting Unit Tests and lastly, studying data structures and algorithms. In my 4th year, one of my majors, 'Data Intensive Computing in Data Science', introduced me to the concept of parallel programming where one could distribute tasks across multiple threads using 'pthreads' and 'OpenMP' in either Python or C++.
