Participated in the Cyber@ANZ Program and conducted two investigations based on real life security events. Social Engineering Investigation Investigated a number of emails, provide with detailed analysis and classed them as malicious or safe with the scope as follows; - Identify indicators of normal or malicious activity - Provide detailed analysis of emails and identified indicators - Classify emails as safe or malicious Digital Forensics Utilised Wireshark, HxD to investigate captured network traffic and extract evidence from various data types with the scope as follows; - Assess HTTP traffic of supplied pcap file - Probe HTTP requests and investigate any suspicious activity - Follow TCP steams and analyse raw data of all files - Decode any suspected obfuscation - Use magicbyte markers to identify file types - Convert raw data to intelligible text or files in correct format - Collect evidence of any suspicious traffic or files - Provide ANZ with an investigation summary
