Analyzed the concentration of the Sb (Antimony) in the InAs (Indium Arsenide) Quantum dot heterostructures. Enhanced the result by prefiltering, background correction and postfiltering before EDX quantification of the spectrum. Interpreted the top part of the truncated pyramidal shape of the QD to get more accurate results after EDX quantification. Calculated a concentration ratio of 1.52 for the intensity counts of In (Lα) and In (Lβ1) after deconvoluting the peaks.
