-Worked in the development of Face recognition-based access control system in a team of four. -Used Open-Source Computer Vision libraries in Java to train a model based on "Eigenfaces". Principal Component Analysis was used for reducing computation and Dimensionality Reduction. The GUI was implemented using Java FX themed with CSS to make user interaction easier and interesting. -Enhanced the accuracy by around 5% using appropriate pre-processing techniques like edge detection and foreground extraction in variable environments. -SMTP libraries in Java were used to notify the Admin in case of an intrusion, thereby enhancing the security of the system.
