Smart Mirror using Raspberry Pi Jan 2020 - Mar 2020 • Designed a personalized IoT-based smart mirror, to display local weather, room temperature, personalized calendar events with the help of face recognition. • Implemented various widgets on the mirror using a popular kit called Magic Mirror and implemented a new alexa integrated alarming module via AWS IoT core. Multi-tier Client-Server application using REST APIs Dec 2019 - Mar 2020 • Implemented a portal to perform CRUD operations on a SQLite3 hosted student database via REST API calls using Flask in Python. Performance Evaluation of TLQ pipeline Sep 2019 - Dec 2019 • Implemented Transform-Load-Query (TLQ) pipeline in Java and hosted as AWS Lambda functions behind API gateway to receive requests. • Evaluated the runtime and throughput metrics of the end-to-end TLQ pipeline when the pipeline is orchestrated from an AWS EC2 instance against AWS Step Functions workflow with varying volumes of data.
