1. Responsible for modeling production functions for several industry data. 2. Considered a revised Cobb-Douglas production function and fitted it upon three different industry data: Manufacturing of food products, textiles, and machinery & equipment. 3. Implemented Multiple linear regression (MLR) using running R codes on the datasets to get the estimate of ex-factory value of output for each data set, showed good fits, with adjusted R^2 > 0.9 in all three cases. 4. Compared results of 'Test for Constant Returns to Scale'.
Summer Intern
Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata•  May 2014 - July 2014
1. Worked on a special Sudoku puzzle called ’Sudoku Hexagon’ with a total of 37 cells. 2. Using graph theory and a brute-force R computational search, found an excellent bound (between 6 and 12 cells) on the minimum number of clues/cells that should necessarily be given in such a puzzle to have only one way of completing it.
