I was responsible for the continued development of wggb.com, as well as the wggb iPhone and iPad applications. The WGGB website is built using Wordpress using custom plugins and widgets written by me. The iPhone and iPad applications were both designed and written by me from scratch using standard Apple development tools such as Xcode and Objective-C. This also includes the push alert system for breaking news and weather.

Led the engineering team through phases of product definition, development and testing, while managing the project schedules, time-lines and budgets. Performed actual coding, refined the software development process to improve efficiency and Led and managed the IT operations and infrastructure to ensure 24x7 up-time as well as global system scalability and security.

Designed www.nerac.com from scratch using XHTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, and PHP. The site also uses Wordpress for content management • Designed multiple interfaces for in-house applications • Designed the Nerac Logo • Designed marketing print collateral including print ads, flyers and shirts • Produced, directed and edited multiple short movies that were used in sales conferences.

Senior Software Engineer

Was one of the primary developers for the gartner.com website • Wrote back-end code for gartner.com with Java using a mix of Servlets, JSP and Beans • Developed Document Display - The section of Gartner.com that displays research to customers • Developed Document Purchase - The area of Gartner.com where customers can purchase research. This included using the CyberSource API to write the online purchasing methods • Was responsible for building the Session Tracking modules • Built templates in Perl for the Interwoven content management system, Teamsite • I also assisted a staff of html developers in using Teamsite for content creation.
