As a member of a high-performing data engineering team at Novartis, I led the seamless transfer of extensive data to a new database, while also integrating new data sources. My expertise in Python allowed me to accelerate the data sorting process by time and date, resulting in a significant increase in efficiency. I also successfully pre-processed large datasets using PySpark to be fed into machine learning algorithms, which resulted in more accurate drug shortage predictions. To ensure optimal performance, I led the thorough testing of the data transfer process using Xray Test Management for Jira before implementing it in production. My ability to work collaboratively with team members, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and solve complex problems allowed for the successful execution of this critical project. Overall, my experience in data engineering has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to build scalable and robust data solutions that drive business value.
