• Overhauled design and implementation in metric aggregation service to reduce its boot up time from 8 mins to 1 min • Implemented splitter and writer service to split incoming data from Apache Kafka Stream topics and write to individual cluster tables in underlying horizontally scalable, distributed HBase datastore • Pair-programmed an independent repair job using Apache Spark to resolve gaps or discrepancies during aggregation service failure • Architected forwarding service with OPS team to duplicate incoming traffic onto new cluster requiring operational and security changes in AWS cloud infrastructure for its seamless functioning
