With over 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer at Barclays, I have honed my expertise in various technologies in the Hadoop ecosystem to work with large financial datasets, analysing and interpreting complex data to inform business decisions. I have worked on building software solutions and building ETL pipelines for one-off migration projects as well as those involving huge Day-0 and Day-1 ETL with optimal performance and the foresight of a perfectionist. I have been recognised and awarded by the department for my thorough planning and attention-to-detail that have helped avoid blockers and boosted the project execution timelines multiple times.
