I worked at Andela Uganda, a tech talent out-sourcing firm based out of Uganda, Kenya and Nigeria. I worked there for nearly two years. I contributed to a web app called Author's Haven(Javascript/React) which is a blog application for bloggers and authors. I contributed to a meeting space management app called Converge(Android/Kotlin). I onboarded multiple new hires to multiple teams. I also led multiple teams as a technical team lead. To shed more light on that, at Andela new hires would be required to deliver a product in a period of four months, they would be assigned to teams and each team would be assigned a Tech-Lead, the tech lead's role was to guide the developers through their project by advising on how to deliver features, reviewing code, enforcing clean code guidelines, enforcing good project architecture and unblocking developers/offering assistance to developers that needed it. The technologies I used or worked with during this period include python, Django, flask and javascript.
