• Capstone Project (Art U): Personally built full-stack web application which provides a platform for college student artists to showcase artworks, represent their school, and accrue a following through social engagement with other artists, curators, collectors, and everyday art consumers. Used Ruby on Rails to construct the backend with RESTful API design and MVC architecture. Employed Vue.js and Bootstrap mobile-first design to build the frontend. • Bootcamp: Learned fundamentals and best practices in full-stack web development in areas of project architecture, backend, frontend, and how to effectively self-teach new technologies o Generated technical requirements and determined the most effective solutions, created wireframes, designed schema, and researched outside resources o Built and tested the backend, incorporating external APIs o Created pages and RESTful routes, made web requests to retrieve data, formatted and styled results, incorporated libraries, CDNs, and themes
