DESCRIPTION: Worked on re-platforming of a legacy Payment application in a distributed system, seamlessly integrating the JPMC payment gateway. Transforming the system into a modern Serverless Architecture utilizing AWS Lambda. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Developed Experience API and Process API for the Payment application by adhering to the API-led architecture paradigm of a distributed system. Crafted and integrated them with an intelligent monitoring and logging mechanism to ensure seamless process integration and debugging within a distributed system, maintaining strict SLA standards. • Integrated with OKTA OAuth2 for enhanced authorization. Implemented AWS Secret Manager and HashiCorp Vault for secure secret storage. • Implemented an AWS Elasticache for Redis caching architecture to reduce database load and improve response times. Created a technical design for team and account information enrichment. • Utilized TypeScript with the Serverless framework of Node.JS runtime, MongoDB, AWS Lambda for Serverless cloud resource, Elasticache for Redis, and Jenkins for CI/CD. • Collaborated within a pod of six members, adhering to Agile Methodology. Assumed the role of a mentor, providing guidance to junior engineers in technical aspects and conducting code reviews.
