GE Appliances, a Haier Company is one of the largest and best selling brands for manufacturing and producing home appliances. At least every two out of five homes use GE Appliances, being a widely accepted and appreciated brand across the world. I've been a part of the Global Command Center as an Associate Systems Analyst, supporting Data Analysis and IT Operations for a varied range of tools required for the organization to be up and running. My responsibilities include the following - • Developed automation scripts for generating repetitive incident analysis reports by extracting data from ServiceNow with Python (REST API) and ETL techniques and reduced 30% of manual effort • Spearheaded interactive visualizations using Tableau dashboards and stories and improved KPIs by at least 40% • Drove complex analytics with SQL queries on consolidated incident, change and problem management data trends and identified accurate data points to make data driven decisions • Steered Tableau, advanced MS Excel pivot tables and MS PowerPoint reports. Summarized data and communicated to cross-functional technical and business teams for weekly and monthly meetings • Led incident management, IT monitoring and operational improvements for global operations with complete insight into various domains like Networking, Database, Application Infrastructure and Compute that resulted in significant business efficiency and improved productivity. • Obtained end-to-end acumen from functional and operational business standpoint along with high-level knowledge on all IT tools used on a daily basis in the organization, right from procuring raw materials to manufacturing, sales to billing and financial reports to the overall revenue. • Took initiative and led the team in Knowledge Transfer/ training sessions to freshers and contractors for handling day to day activities and developed team communications and documentations for technical and business teams.
