Worked with clients to design and develop applications for their ongoing business projects. Most projects I worked on were for service industry as contracted work with the company, such as Deeleeo and Tappcar android apps. Handled integrity of software design and architecture. Researched android mobile technology trends and best practices. • Single handedly developed a delivery-based job board apps called Deeleeo with MVVM architecture for both user and driver side. Tech stacks used were Android Jetpack, Facebook and Google Social SDK, Volley, Room, Firebase, Here Maps SDK, Google Play Services and Kotlin. • Also developed taxi app called Tappcar for user and drivers. Tech stack used was Fabric, Google Maps SDK, Volley, Room, and mix of Java and Kotlin. • Took customer stories to research them and convert them into functional requirements to implemented in android apps. Used Jira to record each requirement and track their estimates. • Collaborated with IOS and backend Laravel developer to produce features and APIs in a timely manner, while ensuring that the required quality was still met. • Actively contributed to an inhouse digital advertisement system to display media through different android devices. Tech stack used was Android Jetpack, Kotlin, Mockk, Room, and Retrofit while using MVVM architecture. • Implemented unit test for advertisement android application using Mockk framework specialized for Kotlin. • Troubleshooted and developed new features for the advisement system, on both the CakePHP front end application, as well as the python backend that used sockets to communicate to the android devices. • Reduce advertisement system server load by creating certain features using AWS. Used Elastic Transcoder to convert customers digital media advertisement and hosting them on S3 for the mobile devices to access.

Responded to service requests, investigated incidents, and assisted with identifying and resolving system issues throughout the organization. Developed working knowledge of custom in-house organizational software. Aided in the support of all ad-hoc projects as requested. • Successfully partnered with internal clients at all levels to resolve immediate and urgent requests, thereby reducing downtime with PCL operational systems. • Spearheaded the creation of simple troubleshooting videos and guides based on the identification of common software/hardware requests brought to the helpdesk. • Developed system recovery processes to reduce issues caused by new system integrations and other critical errors that would ultimately affect business operations.

ENGINEERING RESEARCH STUDENT

Provided research assistance in data collection and investigation into the AR Capability of Google’s Tango Device. • Researched new app ideas using the AR capability of Tango and Its spatial recognition technology. • Identified and documented bugs and issues in prototype hardware for future users. • Coordinated independent research between Tango technology and other libraries, including OpenCV.
