In my recent role as a Technical Consulting Intern at Crowe Horwath IT Services, I was deeply involved in requirement analysis for ERP software application customizations. This experience allowed me to develop technical design documents based on functional design documents, ensuring that the software met client requirements effectively. I worked closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, which involved gathering detailed functionalities, features, and constraints of the software. This process required strong communication skills, as I had to translate technical jargon into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders. I utilized my adaptability and interpersonal skills to facilitate discussions and ensure that all parties were aligned on the project goals. By actively engaging with clients, I was able to identify potential challenges early in the project lifecycle, which helped in mitigating risks and ensuring a smoother development process. My approach to requirement analysis is systematic; I believe in breaking down complex requirements into manageable components, which makes it easier to address each aspect thoroughly. This experience has equipped me with a solid foundation in requirement analysis, which I am eager to apply in future software development roles.
