Time Commitment: 40 hrs to 60 hrs per week Senior I&C Test Engineer • Supporting Test documentation development for several Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) systems. • Installation of baseline updates to I&C systems. Simulator Coordinator • Managing the ongoing projects, leading the team and maintaining tasks and operations working with no interruptions. • Leading the installation of a new baseline on a Simulator Development System. • Coordinating with Supply Chain to maintain spare parts for the simulators. • Coordinating with the Maintenance Department to schedule emergent and routine maintenance to the simulators. Senior Simulator Engineer • Maintaining network architecture by supporting additions to the system, repairing and reconfiguring switches, routers and computers. • Working in the Simulator Group for Vogtle 3&4 as the engineer in charge of software enhancements for the group, creating applications to support simulator’s maintenance. • Performing technical reviews of system design ensuring Simulator requirements. • Providing expert technical advice, guidance and recommendations to management and the line. • Using of Java and databases language like SQL and Access has been essential to develop and maintain Simulator Preventative Maintenance. IT Engineer • Supporting the Information Technology (IT) department in the development of design changes for Telecommunications Infrastructure (Wireless Data and Voice). • Maintained internal network functions, such as routing fiber and LAN connection and provided support in transferring communications between servers and user interfacing tools.

Software Engineer

Naval Underseas Warfare Center•  January 2008 - June 2012

Time Commitment: 40 hrs to 55 hrs per week Computer Engineer • Updating existing code in Test Stand and LabView due to obsolescence issues to ensure and obtained a great quality product. • Integrating new testing analysis tools using Test Stand and LabView to measure the reliability and accuracy of a system’s test set. • Developed a graphical user interface (GUI) in Matlab to evaluate system performance following the changes made in an upgrade. • Created and integrated analysis tools to the GUI in order to analyze the data obtained from the Computer System Configuration Items; and build up analysis capability for one of the analysis tools. Computer Engineer (COOP-Student) • Translated (port) a Six Degrees Of Freedom Model from Fortran to Matlab. • Modeled the equivalent circuits of Analog/Digital Stage of the Generic Sonar Interface (GSI), Hydrophones and Signal Conditioning Circuit (SCC) of the torpedo’s front-end. • Performed verification of the waveforms transmitted by the torpedo using Matlab; and developed a GUI in Matlab containing the necessary tools to analyze the data obtained from the front-end of the torpedo.
