My responsibilities included testing the code and technical contents of the books, making sure they were styled properly, preparing supplementary material that goes along with a published book, as well as managing a book through the production stage. Apart from these core responsibilities, I was the sole developer and maintainer of two automation scripts which are used throughout Packt now by various stakeholders. These scripts reduced certain business processes time from hours to minutes. These scripts were developed using Python and Selenium and operated on a proprietary tool used by Packt for typesetting books.
