Spearheaded research in a year-long study on acetone gas and its correlation with Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA). Engineered a non-invasive breath-based ketone sensor prototype, in lieu of traditional blood testing methods, by integrating gas sensors with common electronic components; employing linear circuits expertise. Increasing the accuracy of readings by 30% compared to urine tests. Demonstrated autonomy while receiving guidance from faculty mentor.
