In my current role, I've had the privilege of working on a series of high-impact, client-facing projects that have not only showcased my technical proficiency but also my ability to deliver exceptional results. These include: Spearheading the development of a cutting-edge Python-based tool, leveraging AI techniques, to extract valuable data from a multitude of electronic and scanned documents. This innovation streamlined data acquisition and enabled rapid insights. Demonstrating my expertise in data extraction, I successfully harnessed various Python libraries, such as Camelot and Tabula-py, to extract structured, tabular data from complex documents, further enhancing data accessibility and analysis. Contributing to the efficiency of data manipulation, I designed and implemented SQL code to seamlessly read and process data from Excel, empowering data-driven decision-making. In addition, I have been actively engaged in projects involving Google BigQuery and its dataflow capabilities, enabling clients to harness the full potential of their data in a scalable and efficient manner. These projects not only reflect my technical skills but also highlight my commitment to delivering client-focused solutions that drive success.

In my previous role, I undertook a pioneering project that exemplified my proficiency in the realm of computer vision and data extraction. I led the development and implementation of a YOLO (You Only Look Once) model, fine-tuned to detect tables within complex financial documents. Taking this further, I engineered a post-processing pipeline to refine detection results, ensuring pinpoint accuracy in table boundary delineation. By leveraging advanced image processing techniques, I elevated the quality of the extracted data by eliminating noise and irregularities. In a holistic approach, I seamlessly integrated Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology into the process, enabling the precise extraction of critical financial data from these documents. This project not only showcased my technical prowess but also my dedication to enhancing the accuracy and utility of financial data analysis, ultimately delivering invaluable insights to the organization.
