Translated business requirements into technical models to help the business understand customer purchase behavior. • Liaisoned with the engineering team in India to ensure their code was up to quality and they were on the same page. • Scraped data from a complex Excel report consisting of multiple spreadsheets to generate an OLAP model using Python, PySpark, and Hive. Data was loaded into an Azure cloud data warehouse. • Utilized optimization techniques to reduce latency and improve efficiency of models with MapReduce.
