• Lead Linux Kernel software developer of the 9-person scrum team responsible for delivering & maintaining Android-based Linux BSPs and device drivers, and core software for the IFE system’s seat smart monitors. • Contributed to the architect of the common kernel design, development guidelines for the kernel team to handle development and maintenance to many products with a small team while achieving important milestones on time. • Served as an architect and gatekeeper to produce high-quality code from geographically distributed teams for the kernel components and hardware abstraction libraries, build procedures and documentation. • Served as the contact point for the s/w support with chip vendors, other s/w teams and departments (hardware, R&D, manufacturing, product & project management). • Served as a software expert in a team responsible for selecting SoC platform and software structure and support for the current as well as next-generation product lines. • Assist with interviewing, and performance reviews of the team members. • Received multiple engineering and incentive awards for delivering results and savings costs.

• Started as a fresh engineer and worked through the role of onsite champion working at the customer location handling team of 10-15 engineers off-shore. • Served as an expert embedded Linux developer, design and developed BSPs, applications at the large scale for various embedded products including DVR, Android Tablets, Point of Sale devices, Audio-Video Transcoders, System on Chip BSP supports for the silicon manufacturer. • Mentored many fresh graduates, contributed to writing business proposals for the different consumer electronics product to win contracts with silicon and CE product companies. • Worked with top tier silicon manufacturer like TI & Marvell to help them develop the Embedded Linux BSPs for their upcoming SoCs.
