• Responsible for the development of Spring Boot applications that integrate with various technologies including: Postgresql, Redis, Gluu (SCIM), HashiCorp Vault, Kafka, OpenID Connect, and various other Rest services. • Established and maintained an 80%+ unit test coverage policy in addition to participating in pull requests and peer reviews to ensure code quality. • Lead a cross-team working group that successfully migrated teams from manual deployments on VMs to automated deployments to Kubernetes. • Increased deployment efficiency by creating CI/CD pipelines to quality-scan, build, deploy, and test services using Maven, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Helm. • Implemented various enterprise integration patterns using Apache Camel in order to add resiliency to external service calls where appropriate. These patterns include: Retry, Circuit-Breaker, and Exponential-Backoff.
