I extracted and unified data from over 5 sources using Snowflake, processing more than 2 million insurance claims. By identifying inefficiencies in fraud detection, I reduced manual review time for over 1,200 claims per month. I developed 20 Power BI dashboards to provide real-time fraud insights, enabling the claims team to prioritize high-risk claims and significantly reduce investigation delays. I also automated data cleaning with Python, saving the team more than 10 hours per week on manual tasks. Through these efforts, I detected and prevented over $500,000 in fraudulent claims, directly enhancing claims processing efficiency. Over the course of two years, I helped uncover more than 400 fraudulent claims, streamlined reporting processes, and supported senior management in making faster, more informed decisions.
