Worked at Google Cloud Platform's Healthcare & Life Sciences solution (under Data Governance team) designing and implementing a public API that allows customers to export large datasets of audit data to BigQuery and Cloud Storage for analysis and compliance purposes. Designed as a parallel asynchronous system. (Used Go, gRPC & Protocol Buffers)

Supported over 30 hackathons held in Canada, U.S., and Mexico. As a MLH coach, my job was to make sure a hackathon runs successfully by supporting organizers during the event and making sure attendees have a great experience. Responsibilities spanned across giving opening presentations to hundreds of attendees, representing MLH's sponsors and their technologies (i.e.: AWS, GCP, Nest, Qualcomm, etc), hosting miscellaneous events to foster participation and engagement among attendees, technical mentoring, etc.

- Created an identity distribution micro-service that allowed the company replace multiple third- party services and centralize all the information related to candidates in one single place eliminating data inconsistencies and dropping the operation cost by 75%. (Used Python, GraphQL and PostgreSQL) - Designed and implemented a conversation flow manager that allowed Apli to replace conversational SaaS and other custom solutions for applying tests to candidates. It is designed like a directed graph were users are allowed to traverse it in any direction (while triggering other actions) and its interface is a REST API built with vanilla Golang and MongoDB.
