    Q4 Web Systems•  September 2022 - May 2024•  Toronto, Canada, Remote

Starting in mid-2023, I became involved in maintaining internal tools (such as a Scraper written in Node + Puppeteer) and acted as a facilitator of processes between teams to increase the efficiency of everyday tasks. - I have developed improvements in the website production process, including: standardizing components in Figma, enhancing communication on technical issues with clients, and optimizing the use of QA tools and resources to avoid false positives. - I presented a proof of concept, approved by my superiors, for a new Design System with integrated tokens. The solution would reduce the time required to develop a new project by up to 20%. - In July, I developed the website for the pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson. One of my biggest challenges, I managed expectations between its various decision-makers. Specifically, I delivered a research pipeline page that could be updated by uploading an Excel spreadsheet, which was vital to their project. - In total, I participated in the delivery of over 50 projects for different Q4 clients throughout my time at the company, all of which received positive feedback. - I conducted onboarding processes for new team members, assisting with the adaptation to the workflow, sharing experiences, and highlighting key points for daily activities. Q4 is a leading company in the global financial market. As a developer on the Activations team, I started as the person responsible for delivering investor websites as part of a larger suite of products offered by the company, using their proprietary CMS, SASS, Mustache.js, and jQuery. - I delivered websites for over 12 clients in my first year and assisted in troubleshooting issues on projects for other colleagues. - I was recognized for my quick adaptation and began progressing to projects with a higher level of customization and/or greater responsibilities involved (large companies, clients with multiple decision-makers, complex Figmas). - Q4 project managers highlighted that my ability to translate demands into reality and discuss the best plans, with clear steps, suggestions, and accessible language, was a key factor in the successful outcome of each project. - In 6 months, I managed to reduce my average website build time by 30% and optimized the QA process to have less bugs on my projects.
