I'm working as a scientist at KPMG Ignition Tokyo since July 2021. My interests include theoretical aspects of machine learning/deep learning and its applications in industry (especially the improvement of user experience on websites), the democratization of AI, programming, and empowerment of women in the STEM fields, improving coaching/mentoring skills.

Lead Machine Learning Engineer

beBit, Inc.•  December 2018 - June 2021

Previously, I had worked as a data scientist and a lead machine learning engineer at beBit, Inc. for about two and a half years. I mainly used python to analyze users' behavior on websites. I was working on the implementation of machine learning-based features on our software product and also collaborating with our clients on machine learning projects. I've also encouraged practicing agile development as a Certified Scrum Master.

Researcher

Université Paris 13•  April 2017 - July 2018

Before coming to the industry, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Université Paris 13 in France. Prior to my work in France, I majored in mathematics at Tohoku University and studied number theory (modular forms/automorphic forms and their application to number theory). I have several peer-reviewed publications in academic journals.
