I was hired as a .NET developer for maintaining a set of internal applications (mainly for production tracking and QA logging), most of which I managed to refactor and achieve a great degree of logic and presentation decoupling, increased maintainability and readability. I developed a solution based on the RaspberryPI for tracking purposes; this represented significant savings for the company (compared to previous legacy solution). After 7 months I was assigned DBA activities (Oracle 11gR2 on RHEL 5) and kept the production databases running without problems. (Oracle Database, .NET, Java) During this period, I also managed to develop and successfully deploy side projects using Java EE.
