Epic is an Electronic Health Record (EHR) that is being used by large hospitals in the US and other countries around the world. End users include patients, doctors, nurses, clinical staff, analysts and more. Epic uses a client-server model with React and TypeScript for client code and C# for server code. Epic also uses a database called Chronicles which uses M (MUMPS) as its main programming language.
