• Programmed the GUI for the Emoti-Chair system, a chair that converts sound into vibrations making music and sound accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing, using the Flex environment with ActionScript 3.0 and implemented the audio processing system using MAX/MSP • Used SVN repositories to work with a team of 7 programmers to integrate code and smoothly launch new versions of the system. • Updated software system to create sign language websites from Real Basic to Java (SignLink Studio). • Formulated proposal, was granted approval and developed and performed usability testing on universally accessible web forms with emphasis on users who are deaf/hard of hearing or blind/low vision as the sole developer for the add-on to the SignLink Studio system. • Updated the sign language web site (ASLpah.ca, now SignLinkStudio.ca) from HTML/JavaScript/CSS/SMIL/QuickTime Videos to PHP with Flash interface. • Used LAMP environment • Used SVN repositories to work as part of a team of 10 programmers to coordinate the development of the software to create online sign language web pages and to maintain the sign language web site.
