Senior Software Engineer

Quirch Foods, LLC•  November 2016 - July 2021

As a .NET Software Developer at Quirch Foods, a food distributor company with headquarters in the Miami area, I am part of a team responsible for developing, and maintaining an in-house WPF/Windows based ERP solution replacing an IBM AS400 series based legacy ERP system. The new ERP system integrates with a BI reporting platform and integrates with a Microsoft Dynamics GP to handle the finances. Some of the position responsibilities includes, but is not limited to: - Develop a separate mobile application targeting handheld devices for executing Receiving, Shipping, Transfers and Inventory Management processes, between others. - Develop data synchronization and data validation processes between the legacy system and the in-house solution to keep data available and accurate in both systems while transitioning, using T-SQL and SSIS packages. - Develop financial data integration to Microsoft Dynamics GP, using eConnect libraries, T-SQL and SSIS packages. - Provide assistance in the Database Architecture Design while complying with Database Normalization Rules. - Provide training and technical support to end-users. - Project lead: Leading a group of 5 developers. Responsible for the transition of all warehouse operation processes and applications into the new system. Review legacy processes to improve accuracy and reduce expenses while keeping the current set of rules and requirements.
