Lead the POC which migrated the product (BigDecisions Platform) into Linux environment Ubuntu and CentOS. I took ownership for maintenance of the SMART CONNECTORS component in the platform, which interacts with social media like Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and scrapes unstructured data for data analysis. Undertook responsibility for setting and monitoring alarms for the EC2 and RDS instances in demo, test and production environments significantly preventing outages. Exposure to Hadoop ecosystem using cloudera and AWS storage, compute and management services like EC2, RDS, S3 and cloud watch. Working with the platform team also helped in gaining firsthand experience with relational database like SQL, SQL-Server and non-relational database like MongoDB, Redshift. Collaborating closely with client across verticals (INSURANCE, HEALTHCARE, LIFESCIENCE etc.), I successfully setup new environments to run BigDecisions in their private or AWS, Azure environments gaining knowledge about cloud infrastructure.
