Software Engineer
Epifi•  January 2021 - Present
Software Engineer - Web Team Epifi is a neobank for digital natives, a startup by the founders of Google Pay India, backed by marquee investors like Sequoia India, Ribbit Capital & more. I joined as only the 2nd team member in web engineering. Projects: - Improved reliability of fi.money website by instrumenting custom metrics on the NodeJS server using Prometheus. Created corresponding Grafana dashboards to visualise this data. - Set up the community website using Redux Tool Kit (RTK), Redux-Saga & custom Webpack config. Using RTK we cut down the codebase by nearly 50% which resulted in quicker release cycles. - Created a sign-in flow that was required for our partner bank agents. It had email, password login with 2FA. Added IP whitelisting with a dynamic config to tighten the website security. - Owned the risk vertical & created 7 different flows like liveness, face match, etc. for the ops team to review malicious activity. Refactored the Risk UI which enabled to deploy new workflows in a day.
