• Designed FW using Java which runs 24x7 on the device to display content having media(YouTube, Vimeo, MRSS, Stock photo, Quotes, NEWS, flight state, Stock quote, etc), playlist(contains media) template(contains media and playlist) based on the date and time specified with each content. • checked client/user functional permissions, if permission/feature expires then shows other content added in a schedule otherwise shows a black screen. • Implemented expiry media functionality based on date and time • Added mute/unmute, template duration, etc functionality Interactive Template. Also, create a new playback mechanism for better performance. • Added 3D animations in playback on all content like media and playlists. • Added WebSocket to decrease RESTAPI calls and decrease the load. Also, add a logging mechanism to save data on the server. • Added JWT authentication • Implemented CAP Alert • Added relaunching feature. • Upgrade all 3rd party libraries used in FW for boosted performance, better stability, and compatibility. • Added Default Content feature • Added Schedule overriding Feature and List out different schedule use cases to cover all tickets that may occur in the future. • Responsible for writing device-level requirements in critical features.
