  • Software Engineering Chief

    Omega Training Group •  September 2004 - April 2011

A DOD-contractor (later bought by Cubic Application, Inc) that worked in the area of training the military. The various methods of training include, but not limited to, online courseware, desktop applications, seminars, training sessions. JFEX (Joint Forces Exercises) – A desktop application that trained soldiers in basic level military doctrine. The application was designed using Adobe Flash, video content, MDM Zinc. The courseware contains over 50 hours of information and a test. JPEX (Joint Forces Practice Exercise) – A desktop application that trained soldiers in intermediate level military doctrine. The application is mixture of Adobe Flash, MDM Zinc, and video content. The courseware contains over 50 hours of information and is graded. In JPEX, the soldier takes it one step further than JFEX. The designs plan for ending conflict on imaginary continents, or for waging war, if needed. The software allows different scenarios to be explored based on the soldier’s response to certain incidents that occur. JAEX (Joint Air Exercises) – A desktop, game application that trains the learner in advance level military war planning. The game was designed using Adobe Flash, MDM Zinc, XML, 3D content, and video content. In JAEX, the learner creates "packages" that manage resources, equipment, war / diplomacy planning to achieve the goal of a peaceful world.

  • Senior Client Server Analyst

    TSYS•  April 2000 - September 2004

They are a credit card processing company. They manage 300+ million accounts with companies in several countries like Great Britain, Mexico, and Japan. TSTutor – TSTutor is a web-based application that allows banks, call centers, and other financial institutions to train on how to use the TS2 System, the credit card processing platform. I developed courseware in Adobe Flash, XML, ASP initially, and SQL Server to store student records. We later converted the TSTutor web application using C#, ASP.Net, XML, and SQL Server. Student Evaluation System (SES) – I was the sole developer of this application. I used C#, ASP.Net, XML and SQL Server to implement the online system. It is a system that allows students to take after-course evaluations to assess the effectiveness of the course. The evaluations were customizable and were track in the database. I created a reporting system that pulled data from the SES and created student, manager, department, and executive level reports.
