I worked as a full-stack web developer in ACEA. Java Spring and MySQL were used as primary back-end tools while ReactJS was the front-end framework together with HTML and CSS. The codebase was version-controlled using GIT on Bitbucket. I worked with 5 other interns and the team lead, where we worked in 2-weeks sprint using agile scrum methodologies managed on Jira. In this role my responsibilities were: 1- Developed new features for project sprints; presented my project updates to the software team in an Agile life cycle and during daily standups. 2- Implemented new UI as per the new features requirements using ReactJS. 3- Fixed issues with Stripe integration. 4- Spotted, reported, and fixed security issues. 5- Enhanced the UX for the SSO modal to be more user intuitive friendly and screen-responsive. 6- Synced multiple React states in different components to backend APIs. 7- Fixed browser-compatibility and mobile-first bugs to make the web app responsive. 8- Documented my work to handover to the team using videocasts and markdown. 9- Integrated Material-UI typeahead component and used in different parts of the app.
